Tuesday 11th November 2014 at the Union Club in the heart of Soho saw a joyous occasion, an Anniversary Auction, held to commemorate 25 years of ChildHope’s credible charity work.

Surrounded by supporters and friends the celebrations kicked off with an inspiring short film showcasing the incredible work that ChildHope do. – This is available to view via ChildHope’s website here.

This was followed by a heartfelt speech from ChildHope’s patron Trevor Eve, who spoke about his personal reasons for supporting ChildHope.

“My relationship with ChildHope began when I was involved in the BBC LifeLine Appeal in 1997, which raised an incredible £100,000.  This really helped ChildHope to develop and grow.  Now they are working with over 114,000 children in 10 countries, on issues including child labour, abuse in families and child marriage.”

The auction itself was a huge success, with a vast variety of prizes on offer, ChildHope managed to raise a fantastic £11,566! This will go towards supporting the lives of vulnerable children worldwide and ensuring they can enjoy a safe and secure childhood.
